Tribal Development Department Scheme for the year 2016-17, the tribal students who want to pursue primary education would be helped take admission in reputed English medium residential schools.

As per the Integrated Tribal Development Department Scheme for the year 2016-17, the tribal students who want to pursue primary education would be helped take admission in reputed English medium residential schools in the region. For the implementation of the scheme, the department's division has invited applications from the students hailing from the four districts of Marathwada region, namely Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Latur.

Authorities maintained that the interested candidates will have to collect the forms from its office located at the Azad Chowk in Aurangabad and submit them before April 20. The department maintained that it would bear all the expenses of the shortlisted students and the children of single mothers, destitute, divorced mothers and those belonging to below poverty line would be given preference. The authorities have also asked the candidates to submit all the required documents including caste certificate, medical fitness certificate, consent letter of parents, a couple of passport size photographs, bonafide certificate. The authorities maintained that through this scheme, the department intends to bring the children from tribal families in to the main stream and introduce them to the quality education system.
