Pakistan Navy on Saturday successfully test-fired shore-based anti-ship missile Zarb bolstering its defence mechanism. The missile was launched from a coastal site and successfully hit the surface

Naval chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah said the launch of new missile system was part of Pakistan Navy  continuous effort to enhance its capabilities. He termed the successful test as hallmark of Pakistan Navy  preparedness.Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said that with the successful test launch significant capability has been added to the Pakistan Navy  arsenal.He said that it would further bolster the defence mechanism of the country and contribute towards peace and stability in the region, according to the statement.
